Couple’s Wedding Invitation Is Causing Outrage From All The Guests
When Mary von Aue received a wedding invitation from a “dear friend,” she was shocked to see how insulting it was. As a result, Mary decided to oust the cruel bride and groom by snapping a photo of the offensive wedding invitation and sharing it for all to see on social media. As a result, the shocking invitation to the wedding has gone viral and more people are desperately trying to understand what could have possibly compelled the bride and groom to send such a disturbing note to their beloved guests. The wedding note was not short and sweet. Compared to other wedding invitations, this couple wrote a rather lengthy explanation. Unfortunately for them, their cruelty and bizarre tendencies only shined more brightly with every word they added to the page. Here is a picture of the invitation that had “Important notice” emblazoned across the header.
“Dear friends and family,” the note began. “Please understand that our venue is limited in the number of guests we will be able to accommodate for our wedding day. As much as we would love to have each and every one of you join us on our big day, we are forced to split our guests into groups to ensure we do not surpass our capacity restrictions.”
The wedding invitation then explained the different groups that would be subjected to the bizarre rules of their wedding venue.
“Group A: Please RSVP as soon as possible. We appreciate your promptness as we will be able to extend any vacant seats to additional guests.”
Then the bride goes into more detail about “Groups B & C,” which are the less desirable invitees.
“Please keep a close watch on our wedding website for notice that we have space available. If you already know that you are unable to join us, it is helpful that you decline via the RSVP function on our website.”
Because the wedding venue is subjected to social distancing guidelines due to pandemiec, the bride and groom had to figure out a way to limit the number of guests. That’s why they urged people not to bring their children to the special day.
“If possible, we encourage our guests to hire a babysitter for the night and leave your children at home. As much as we love your kids, we are doing our best to make space for all of the guests we can. We also ask for our single guests to forgo their plus one if possible. We appreciate your understanding.”
This wedding invitation was then marked with the “You are in Group A” message at the bottom – which was lucky for Mary von Aue.\
“I was scheduled to get married in Nov but now have pushed back till 2021. Trying to plan a wedding during pandiemic was agony. Frankly, I’m fine with this. This makes complete sense to me. I don’t know why there has to be B and C and not just B, but otherwise, this is fine,” one bride contributed in the comments.
Do you think this bride has gone too far? Or is she making the most out of a pandemic situation?
